Description:

• Actalent is seeking a BIM Specialist with 4 plus years experience at an MEP firm.
• This candidate will need to be able to design Mechanical and Electrical building components in BIM, Revit, Navisworks and run Clash Detections.
• Our client doesn't just need someone who can run a clash detection and coordinate with other departments, but someone who can find the issues and fix them.
• Our client has been around for over 50 years and works on a variety of projects including museums, institutional, government, laboratories and higher education.
• This role will also involve coordinating with architects and occasional site visits.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or certificate in Computer Aided-Design (CAD) or a related field
• 4 years of experience using BIM within the MEP industry
• BIM experience within building design or MEP industry
• Revit experience within MEP
• Navisworks experience required
• Clash Detection experience required
• Commercial or government experience required
• Single family residential experience is not transferrable
